European Food Summit 2020 — Ljubljana, Central Slovenia
March 28, 2020 - March 30, 2020

The European Food Summit is with us again after last year’s tremendously successful premiere. Happening over three days between March 28 and 30 in Ljubljana, this year’s second edition is set to yet again inspire, educate, enthral, and engage all food lovers and the public at large.
It will feature a number of intriguing events, including culinary walks, eventful dinners (such as the historic premiere of the ultimate culinary experience) and an expert gastronomy-oriented summit headed by Ana Roš, named World’s Best Female Chef in 2017, and Andrea Petrini, one of the most influential people in the world of gastronomy.
The European Food Summit is more than just a culinary event, as it raises awareness of the global impact of food and brings together great minds from around the world in a one-day symposium. In fact, its main emphasis is on food culture, diversity and a sustainable future. Top chefs, scientists, and internationally renowned journalists, and individuals devoted to making the world a better place will convene at this enormous three-day event.

This is what world-famous chef Ana Roš of Hiša Franko has to say about the summit: “I would really like to see many Slovenian chefs, sommeliers, opinion makers, bloggers, journalists and everyone else working in or talking about our business at the symposium. But I would also like to see people are not involved in gastronomy, because gastronomy is much more than just wine and food. It is a global reflection, because whatever happens in our daily lives also affects gastronomy.”
