Lavender Festival in the Karst – Western Slovenia

This fragrant festival has become a great success over the years. Solely dedicated to this much-loved flowering plant, the festival presents visitors with all its noble qualities. You can take part in the manual harvesting of lavender with sickles or scissors, and create wreaths and bouquets.
Get inspired and acquainted with various ways of processing lavender by attending some of the many workshops, including soap making, and the making of natural cleansers and balms. You’ll find a number of lavender products and edibles available, namely essential oils and other beauty products, and lavender ice cream! I’ve tried that last year, and it was unforgettably tasty and refreshing.
