Peach Festival – Prvačina, Western Slovenia

This Peach Festival is a pleasant event that will appeal to all foodies, and is perfect for the entire family as it includes plenty of entertainment, educational, and family activities. It takes place in the lower Vipava Valley, where the mild climate is ideal for the cultivation of peaches and other fruits like apricots, persimmons and figs.
The event will feature a farmers market with products made from peaches: desserts, jams, spirits, and many more. A really popular item is Bovla—a refreshing drink made from from local wine and peaches.
If you’re attending the festival, take the opportunity to explore the Vipava Valley, where you’ll find an interesting culinary offer and be able to taste some interesting indigenous wines from the area: Zelen, Pinela, and Vitovska Garganja.
