Lent is the most delightful and oldest part of Maribor city in Eastern Slovenia. It’s very famous for hosting the oldest vine in the world, which you can see in front of the Old Vine House.

SladoLent is the culinary part of Festival Lent, which has grown to be one of Slovenia’s biggest summer festivals. Festival Lent takes place on Maribor’s river banks and is a lively mixture of food, wine, music, theatre, dance, and other performances. The food and wine part has gained an important role in the last couple of years as it features some of Slovenia’s best chefs and their original street food offering.
